Labs & Workshop

As part of the college's commitment to deliver the highest level of student's computing needs, five computer laboratories fully equipped with impressive state-of-the-art equipment comparable to industry standards are available.

These facilities offer a complete line of solutions designed to address the students computing requirements ranging from PC based software, to complex tools readily available on the college's advanced network for the Computer Sciences program of studies.

These offerings are provided to students enabling them to focus towards the importance of information technology in relation to their course of choice. The college has positioned itself among other education providers in the country to deliver these excellent computing facilities to students

Students exposed to the hands-on practical experiences through the well equipped engineering and science laboratories and workshops that include the Basic Electrical Lab, Analog Electronic Lab, Digital System Lab, Power Electronic Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Communication Lab, Electrical Machine Lab, Computer Lab, Physics Lab and Chemistry Lab.

The Engineering Labs are also equipped with computer applications software specifically for engineering purposes, such as MATLAB, Simulink, PowerSim, ControlSim, AutoCAD etc.

The well-equipped laboratories and the latest software packages give learners the edge they need to be successful in their areas of study.

Our Physics Laboratory here is fully air-conditioned, and can accommodate 25-30 students. A functional air-conditioned dark room is just next to the laboratory. Besides having all the usual traditional equipments and apparatus, it is also equipped with 4 PC's installed with the latest software meant for computer-aided experiments and computer-controlled simulations. The laboratory is mainly used for Higher School Certificate (Australian Matriculation) courses and the American Degree Transfer Program.

The fully air-conditioned Chemistry Laboratory complete with a Fume Cupboard is situated on the first floor at Block A of the college. It can accommodate about 25-30 students. Both the Biology Laboratory and the Chemistry Laboratory share a preparation room adjacent to the Chemistry Laboratory. The Laboratory is used by the students of the American Degree Transfer Program, Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Science) and Higher School Certificate (Australian Matriculation) to plan and conduct experiments in physical, organic and inorganic chemistry. The Chemistry Laboratory is well equipped with spectrophotometers, computer-assisted acid-base titration systems, and other equipments.

The current Biology Laboratory as well as the nearing completion new Molecular Bioscience Laboratory are well equipped with facilities that are required for conducting all the biology courses of the American Degree Transfer Programme, the Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Science) and the Higher School Certificate (Australian Matriculation) Programme. These courses include fields in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics and life sciences. The Biology Laboratory can accommodate 20-25 students, whereas for the Molecular Bioscience Laboratory it is 25-30 students. Both laboratories are fully air-conditioned. There is also clean and air-conditioned preparation room inside the Molecular Bioscience Laboratory.
