1. Q: What is the total duration of this diploma?

A: The whole program takes about 2.5 years to graduation. In semester terms: 8 or 9 semesters.

2. Q: How come it takes to long to graduate while other academic programs takes only about 3 years to obtain a degree?

A: This diploma program prepares to meet the critical demand for highly skilled manpower, focused on developing fundamental design skills, analytical skills and managerial skills in computing and information technology. Besides this diploma allows articulation into year two or final year of honors bachelors' degree.

3. Q: What is the entry requirement to this diploma?

A: You have to possess at least 3 credits in SPM. A credit in mathematics and English is advisable.

4. Q: How are the job prospects after graduation from computing or IT studies?

A: There are at present many MSC status company looking for qualified graduates to fill its needs of highly skilled manpower. Thus, the job market for IT graduates is constantly there. Saturation of computer science or IT graduates is unlikely in a fast developing nation like Malaysia.
