Janice Kor Yin Chiek - Higher Distinction in Corporate Governance and Accountability by CPA Australia, Masters of Business in Accountancy, RMIT University, Australia, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Marketing), Deakin University, Australia.

Personally, being a TAFE NSW Advanced Diploma in Accounting graduate, it was a key milestone and a pair of wings for me to fly towards a greater height in academic and career. It permits me towards the advancement of Certified Practicing Accounting (CPA) qualification and graduated from a Master's degree in a prestigious Australia University at a young age.

This qualification had given me the privilege with strong and solid foundation to pursue my undergraduates studies in pretigious university in Australia. Hence, i had complete my first degree double majored in Accounting and Marketing with flying colours.

These strong encouragements of striving totowards greater elevation of success had enabled me to complete all CPA Australia professional examination segments at the same time with my Masters Of Business in Accountancy Degree with Distinctions both completed together within 1 and ½ yrs at the age of 23 years.

I found that at every stage of my studies, be it the undergraduate or postgraduate, or the more advanced professional qualification level, most of the course contents are extensions from the subjects that I had learnt well in TAFE NSW Advanced Diploma in Accounting. This has allowed me to handle my studies with greater ease and sent me on a fast track towards the graduation of these degree courses. This diploma course is a great option for those of you who are keen and aggressive in pursuing a career in accountancy.

I would also like to take this auspicious opportunity to convey my greatest gratitude to all my lecturers at INTI International College, Penang for their very dedicated guidance and patience. They have supported me throughout the course and have helped me greatly to become a qualified CPA today that open millions doors of opportunities for me to advance my career globally in premier organizations.

On a personal note, I certainly feel very thankful to my mum and dad who had carefully evaluated and chosen the right path and correct route to enroll me in TAFE NSW programme with their fullest support throughout my educational years.

Throughout the year pursuing the Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Commerce), I was enlightened and impressed by the ways the lecturers conduct their lectures which gave me motivation to strive towards excellence. Besides that, the Australian Degree Transfer Programme has helped me to equip myself before I move on to the next level. Furthermore, I was given the privilege to transfer my credits to the prestigious Australian National University to pursue a degree in Finance. This course had indeed prepared me well to face challenges at the Australian National University..

I strongly believe that the TAFE advanced Diploma in Accounting helps to equip students for further studies, as well s develop better skills for future careers. with the knowledge that i have gained from TAFE accounting, i certainly managed to do well in my undergraduate studies. I was given the privilege to be admitted into the pretigious Golden Key Award Society for my scholastic excellence in my studies here at the uiversity 7 was also chosen to be the mace bearer, one who is a top scorer in that faculty, at the graduation cremony.

Ooi Ying Ying - Awarded “Outstanding Achievement in Bachelor of Commerce studies 2005” by Deakin University, Australia

“ TAFE NSW provides a solid foundation to kick start my accounting career and also a short-cut to professional accounting qualification. Although TAFE focuses on accounting, we were also taught areas such as law, finance, marketing, financial planning, taxation, business computing, management, and much more. It emphasizes the same high standard as the campuses back in NSW, Australia.
Dedicated, friendly and caring lecturers are always there to support and assist students. They encourage us to be independent as well as updating us on the recent developments in the business world. INTI Penang has a well-stocked and up-to-date books and magazines, including internet access available. These have assisted me to do well in my assignments.
IICP has a very conducive and relaxed studying environment as it is uncongested and unpolluted atmosphere. With its open, spacious and green environment INTI Penang is an ideal education center with lush greenery surrounding it.
On-campus accommodation is available for local and international students as well as various facilities available, for instance gym room, music room, cyber café, tennis court, basketball court and etcetera. Parking is free and stress-free as its car park has ample space. It was a great experience taking TAFE at INTI Penang”.

Sharon Cheah - Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Sharon graduated on 23 May 2004. She was awarded financial aid from the college during the 2 years studies in the US. She is currently working at the Center for Children and Families of the State University of New York at Buffalo as a Developmental Classroom Aide in the Summer Treatment Program for children with ADHD.

Michelle Mun - Major in Business Finance

"The University of Colorado at Denver is located in the middle of downtown Denver, the capital of Colorado; excellent facilities with unlimited excess to computers and printers, travel agencies, an English language assistance & writing center, free tutoring programs, and a career center. The quality education is worth paying for."

Michelle graduated from University of Colorado at Denver in December 2003, and planning to further her studies as a Chartered Financial Analyst, then Master of Business Administration. She is currently working in SYNNEX Corporation at Fremont, California.

Hean Yew - Major in Aerospace Engineering

"Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is located behind the Daytona Beach International Airport, beside the Daytona 500 Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is 1 hour drive from Orlando, on of the largest cities in the US. Its Aerospace Engineering is one of the top universities for undergraduate studies in the US. Its advanced, practical facilities is specially designed for the aerospace studies ranging from a wind tunnel to a flight simulator."

Neo Chee Seng - Major in Chemical & Biomedical Engineering

"The University of Virginia is located in the historical city of Charlottesville and is the top public university in the US. It is 3 hours drive from Washington D.C. and 4.5 hours drive from New York. It is famous for its Jeffersonian's architecture and academic excellence. UVA has been consistently ranked top in most departments for the past few decades. There are 16 libraries on campus that are all ranked top 10 among the largest libraries in the US."

He has the opportunityto work as an intern at the Fisher-Price in summer 2005.

Deelan Teoh - Major in Computer Engineering

"San Jose State University is located south of San Francisco, one of the largest cities in the world. It is right in the middle of the industrial area with world-renowned companies like Hewlett Packet, E-Bay, etc. SJSU is famous for Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management Information Science. Its state-of-the-art library is ranked the largest among California state universities. The weather is cool with a nice breeze all year long. The public transportation is so convenient that one doesn't really need a car to get around the city. Most important of all, it is very affordable compared to other prestigious California State Universities."

Lim Suat Ling - Master's Degree in Chemistry

Lim Suat Ling is completing her Master's degree in Chemistry through a "sandwich program" whereby she studies 2 years at Hull University in UK, work 1 year (she is currently employed by RECKITT which is the No 1 detergent company in the world starting July 2005), and complete her final year in Hull U.

It also helps me to develop and build my resume through internship and projects that will lead to great career opportunities."

Jayme Khoo - Major in Chemical Engineering

"Purdue University is famous for its Engineering Department. Purdue produces well-known astronauts, namely Neil Armstrong and Amelia Earhart. NASA absorbs the engineering graduates for their know-how and hands-on experiences. One of the giant companies in the US, namely General Electrics offers Purdue graduates a job placement even before they graduate."

Wong Sui Cheng - Major in Mechanical Engineering

Sui Cheng is the Chief Editor of the Purdue Engineering Magazine. He did his summer 2003 internship at INTEL Penang and is currently doing his summer 2004 internship at INTEL Shanghai.

Melvin Tang - Major in Electrical Engineering

"Texas A&M University is located at College Station, in the middle of Houston and Austin. Although it is a university town, its public transportation is very convenient. The chances of getting an internship are higher compared to other towns or cities as it is near to NASA. It has on of the best engineering department in the US, yet it is very affordable in terms of tuition fees and cost of living."

Catherine Lim Wan Li - Chemical and Materials Engineering (Auckland Uni)

The HSC Course has been an amazing experience! After finishing my SPM examinations, I looked around various top-colleges which offered Pre-University programmes and found that the HSC Course was the one for me. This programme not only boasts excellent academic performance but also great teaching and learning facilities. The lecturers are also very approachable and are willing to lend a hand, whenever and wherever, making my learning experience in the programme an unforgettable one. Ng Shin Yee - Medicine (Uni of Tasmania)

Initially, I took up the HSC course because I had 6 months of holidays before Form 6 commenced. At the very last minute, I changed my mind and completed this course instead. Although the HSC program is a short stint, nonetheless, it still manages to provide me with a strong foundation, thus, an excellent stepping stone for my university education. Credit has to be given to the experienced lecturers whom were very dedicated and committed in providing the best for their students. I find them very approachable especially when I was clouded by doubts and needed more clarification. The frequent assessments that we had certainly kept me on my toes, and eventually had me well prepared prior to the final examination. Being an outstation student, I was also pleased with the well-equipped hostel accomodation that made my stay a comfortable and convenient one. Altogether, studying at INTI Penang has certainly been a positive and rewarding experience for me.

Ooi Jun Yi - Dental Surgery (Uni of Adelaide)

When I first knew my parents were going to send me to Australia, I was indecisive about my Pre- U course. However, after much discussion about study options, I found that IICP was the best choice I could make. Besides being a reputable institution highly recommended by friends, the HSC course is also a comprehensive and challenging one which suited my needs. Furthermore, after talking to a few lecturers, I had the confidence that this was the place to develop my intellectual capacity and mould my character.

After spending ten months here, I am happy to say that I have no regrets. The learning path through this college , with its helpful and dedicated lecturers, has been a marvellous experience. I have gained much from the well-structured HSC course, caring lecturers , good facilities and amazing friends I have found. My experiences at IICP have made me a more motivated person and taught me the importance of believing in my abilities as well as inspired me to look at things from as many perspectives as possible. For all that IICP has done for me, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to the wonderful academic staff that have made my year!
